Prepared statemetns are good for multiple insert/updates what u usually do in cron jobs. My question is does it bring any thing good in terms for performance for usual web applications?

I mean for 2 user same script is executing in my server, in that case if i use prepare statements in that script whether query persing + optimizing will be done 2 times or once ??</description>
