Thanks for an excellent book. I also liked your web update on how to do 2 wikis with same code. nicely done. Would very much like some more help on how to add various extensions. Also might suggest you touch on the Ubuntu/Debian apt-get installation as it is a little bit different installation directories and I’m a little confused how everything works together. Thanks again.

Hei Nice post. But I have a q?

Prepared statemetns are good for multiple insert/updates what u usually do in cron jobs. My question is does it bring any thing good in terms for performance for usual web applications?

I mean for 2 user same script is executing in my server, in that case if i use prepare statements in that script whether query persing + optimizing will be done 2 times or once ??
